By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 23-year-old mother, Andesha Andean Myers, is home after spending six nights in Belize Central Prison, having finally posted bail in connection with an alleged arson in Belama Phase 5.
Myers, a mother of two, was charged for arson in the burning of her common-law husband’s home on September 10, 2025. She was offered $5,000 bail with two sureties of $2,500 each on Friday, September 12, but was unable to meet the amount and was remanded to prison.
On Thursday, September 18, Myers successfully posted bail and was released on a removal warrant. She is scheduled to appear in court again on November 7, 2025.
Conditions of her bail require Myers to sign in every Friday at the Belama Police Station, avoid contact with the virtual complainant and their family, maintain a distance of at least 100 feet from the complainant, and remain at her Belama residence while the case is pending.
