By Zoila Palma: On February 11, 2025, Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan Dr. Candice Pitts joined Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Remus Chen, and other Ambassadors and Representatives at a luncheon in honor of participants in the National Development Course, Session 177, organized by the Ministry of National Defense of Taiwan.
Senior Inspector of Belize Police Department, John Sanchez, is representing Belize in this course.
The participants of this course are introduced to the military and national defense system, diplomacy, and strategy policy, through lectures and practical experiences.
The Embassy of Belize extended well wishes to Sanchez in the remainder of the course and in his service to Belize.
