By Aaron Humes: Four persons have been confirmed dead and others are still in treatment at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital following the weekend’s second major traffic accident.
The dead have been identified as teacher Gustavo Chi, who worked at Orange Walk Technical High School; his mother, Angelita ‘Lita’ Chi, who was a known supporter and campaigner for Minister of Health Kevin Bernard in Orange Walk East, as well as Cecilio de Jesus Arana and his son Allan Arana.
Among the injured are Police Officer Andy Garcia, who sustained a broken right foot.

Тhе Роntіас allegedly lоѕt соntrоl аnd соllіdеd hеаd-оn wіth thе Міtѕubіѕhі between Miles 45 and 46 on the Philip Goldson Highway.
Police continue their investigations and will determine whom to charge in due course.
