By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police were called to Whistling Duck Street, Belize City on Friday night after an alcohol-related argument escalated into a confrontation involving a meat cleaver.
The incident involved Rafael Hernandez, 41, who reported that an argument broke out with 27-year-old Lucien Frazer and his cousin, 26-year-old Dujon Alvarez.
Police say Frazer and Alvarez left the residence but took a silver meat cleaver with them. Members of the Faber’s Road Joint Operations Team later encountered the pair on Lake Independence Boulevard, where the matter was addressed.
The men were escorted home, and the weapon was returned to Hernandez. Police confirmed that no charges were filed, but all parties were warned.
