By Breaking Belize News Staff: Following backlash from fans of the hit TLC reality-show 90 Day Fiancé, Stig Da Artist has dropped a diss track on 90 Day fans for labeling him, among other things, a scammer and crook looking for a Visa and criticizing his music.
The backlash all stems from the recently aired episode, in which Stig gets angry with girlfriend Aviva, who was texting while he was performing. Stig blames Aviva for forgetting his lyrics on stage and messing up his performance because she was on her phone texting another person instead of paying attention.
Following the episode, Stig has received harsh criticism from fans of the show on numerous fan pages. He’s been called scammer, crook, looking for a Green Card, as well facing scathing reviews over his performance and music. Some fans have even pointed to his reaction as a red flag, labeling him things like narcissist and controlling. Seeing the storm of negativity, Stig took particular umbrage with a Facebook comment by a viewer, targeting the fan and his wife in a Facebook post, claiming the fan’s wife cheated on him.
Stig doubled down on this accusation in his latest release, posted following all the fallout from the recent episode. In his minute-and-a-half response, Stig thrashes the fan and makes derogatory comments about his wife. He also takes aim at fans who call him a crook and say he is looking for a Visa. Stig also boasts about his time on the BET red carpet and claims he is coming back for an award this time among other claims in the track.
Only time will tell if the exposure from 90 Day Fiancé will result in a positive impact on Stig’s career as a performer. Stig follows Ryan Carr as the only other Belizean to appear on the show. Stig has also been accompanied on the show by manager Ritchie Galvez, who in the past has been politically affiliated, and producer DJ Perf, no stranger to controversy himself, after being charged with rape in 2019.
