Accused burglar granted bail after four months on remand in prison

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Gregory Flowers, an Independence Village resident, is out on bail after spending four months on remand at prison for a charge of burglary.

Flowers appeared in court on Tuesday and was offered bail in the sum of $3,000 plus two sureties of $1,500 each. He is not to contact the virtual complainant, the family, leave the country or be charged with any other crime while out on bail.

He is accused of breaking into a home and stealing a washing machine. He is due back in court on March 13.
