The Sacred Heart College Female Volleyball Team secured second place at the NSSSA Championship.
Congratulations to the Sacred Heart College Female Volleyball Team for achieving Second Place at the NSSSA Volleyball championship! On November 7th, 2025, the SHC Hawks demonstrated their resilience with a stunning comeback against San Pedro High School, leading them to the Championship Finals. On November 8th, they faced St. Catherine Academy, securing a remarkable Second Place.
This marks the second consecutive year our girls have earned Second Place honors at NSSSA Volleyball, under the guidance of Head Coach Mr. Romain Romero, Assistant Coach Ahmad Bennett, and this year’s assisting coach, Eleazar Mejia.
We’re incredibly proud of our dedicated Female Volleyball team: Averie Guzman (Team Captain), Anaya Alvarado, Chelsea Flores, Keyannie Jemmott, Dianellie Landero, Mikalah Mendoza, Marlyn Neal, Kelly Quintanilla, Zaire Requena, Jasmine Rosado, Kenya Echeverria, and Arranie Duenas. A heartfelt shout-out to Shellange Wiltshire from Belmopan Comprehensive School and Kiarra Leslie from Mount Carmel High School for joining our Female Hawks on this journey.
We extend our gratitude to SHC Sports Director Mr. Matt Cobb for the relentless motivation and encouragement of our athletes. Special thanks to SHC President, teachers, and parents for their unwavering presence and steadfast support of our Girls Hawks throughout the tournament. We are BEYOND proud of our fearless female athletes—they brought the heat and left everything on the court!
