By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A second member of a Mopan Street household in Orange Walk Town has reported being threatened during a late night incident on Sunday.
A 28 year old call centre agent told police that around 12:15am on October 25, he heard someone cursing and making a commotion outside his home. When he went outside, he saw his former brother in law, whom he has known for 17 years, standing aggressively inside the yard.
He said the man appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
According to the report, the man approached to within about five feet, pointed at him and threatened to chop off his head and bring armed friends to kill him and his family.
The complainant said he feared for his life and that this is not the first time the man has behaved this way toward the family.
He told police the man picked up a rock and threw it toward the house before leaving.
Earlier on Sunday, another member of the household reported that the same man had threatened to shoot him and others during the same incident.
