By Breaking Belize News Staff: Santa Elena resident Britney Guerra and her family is seeking answers after her 5-year-old niece was reportedly knocked down this week by a motorcycle in front of Santa Elena Primary School in Santa Elena.
“The person operating the motorcycle is a 15-year-old boy.
When we spoke with the police, we were told that the child cannot be arrested because of his age and that he is supposed to be charged. However, as of now, we understand that he has still not been charged, and we are very concerned because the same child is still riding a motorcycle and was seen delivering food at Santa Elena Primary School on September 30th,” Guerra explained.
“We are not trying to harass or attack a 15-year-old child. We simply want answers, accountability, and reassurance that our children are safe around the school,” she added.
The family is reportedly seeking the police assistance in dealing with this matter.
