By Zoila Palma: Businesses and institutions from Taiwan and Belize met on September 29, 2026, for the Taiwan–Belize: CIECA–BCCI Business-to-Business (B2B) Meeting at the Lord Ashcroft Centre of the Fort George Hotel & Spa in Belize City.
The event was co-organized by Taiwan in Belize, BELTRAIDE, the Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA), and the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), providing a platform for representatives from both countries to strengthen commercial relations and explore new areas of cooperation.
Discussions and B2B matchmaking sessions focused on several key sectors, including green energy and smart mobility, digital technology and artificial intelligence, agriculture and food processing, healthcare and education, tourism and logistics, as well as finance, trade, and international economic cooperation.
The meeting also highlighted opportunities for increased trade, investment, innovation, and business partnerships between the private sectors of Taiwan and Belize.
