Police say officers were conducting patrol in a marked pickup along Black Water Street in Trial Farm Village around 8:15am on Monday when their attention was drawn to a woman riding a red AKT motorcycle heading toward them.
The patrol pulled over and an officer requested her driver’s licence and the particulars for the motorcycle.
She told police she did not have updated insurance.
She was informed of the offence, cautioned and escorted to the Trial Farm Police Station along with the motorcycle.
Her constitutional rights were read and explained through a suspect’s rights acknowledgement form and a care and custody form, both of which she signed voluntarily.
Seleni Uliana Chable was formally arrested and charged the same day. She was cautioned and chose to remain silent.
