By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Kimborli Yisel Morales has been selected to represent Belize as an International Delegate and Speaker at the Global Youth Impact Summit 2026 in Porto, Portugal.
The summit runs from September 3 to 6 and brings together more than 1,000 young leaders and delegates from over 50 nations across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Organised by the Council for Global Affairs and Development, the four day gathering covers the UN Sustainable Development Goals, ethical governance of artificial intelligence, human rights, peace and mediation, climate action, health systems and intercultural dialogue.
Being selected as a speaker, rather than only a delegate, means Morales will address the summit directly.
“This is where tomorrow’s leaders meet today,” said Prof. Dr. Malgosia Fitzmaurice, Chair of the Global Advisory Board at CGAD.
Organisers describe GYIS as a working summit where delegates co-create solutions over four days rather than simply attending sessions.
Congratulations to Kimborli Yisel Morales on representing Belize on the world stage.
