By Zoila Palma: Bulridge has begun a series of forest restoration activities aimed at helping to rehabilitate degraded areas within the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve.
The initiative will involve planting activities throughout the reserve from August through December 2026.
Earlier this year, Bulridge installed its first pine seed catchment system as part of its efforts to support forest restoration.
The system is now being put to use, with the first seed planting activity recently completed with support from the Forest Department and the Belize Defence Force (BDF).
The company said that the first planting represents an important step in its ongoing restoration efforts, with each seed contributing to the long-term health and recovery of the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve.
