Applications opened on August 4, 2026, and will remain open until October 6, 2026.
The scholarship programme seeks individuals who can demonstrate strong leadership, influence and networking skills, along with a commitment to creating positive and lasting change in their communities.
Successful scholars become part of a global network of future leaders and gain access to UK education, professional connections and experiences aimed at helping address global challenges and support sustainable development.
British High Commissioner to Belize Alistair White encouraged talented Belizeans from all backgrounds to apply, noting that Belize’s Chevening alumni have made valuable contributions across various sectors.
White said the programme represents “one of the UK’s most enduring investments in future leaders” and encouraged applicants to share their vision for how a UK education and global network could contribute to Belize’s future development and prosperity.
Since its establishment in 1983, more than 60,000 professionals have advanced their careers through Chevening.
Prospective applicants can submit their applications here.
