By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP):Belizeans looking for a getaway without the border run have a fresh reason to look toward Burrell Boom. Black Orchid Resort has launched its River Wild Escape locals special, offering 20 percent off all rooms for Belizean residents from August 1 to October 1.
The discount applies across the resort’s full range of accommodations: Garden View Rooms, River View Rooms, Garden View Suites and Riverfront Suites, so everything from a simple couple’s night away to a riverfront splurge qualifies.
The package is pitched as more than just a room. Guests are welcomed with a drink and a cold rag on arrival, receive a complimentary self-guided canoe outing on the Belize River, and enjoy a discount at the Idolly Dee Gift Shop. The riverside setting does the rest, with the resort’s pool and grounds sitting minutes from Belize City yet a world away from it.
The two month window conveniently covers the September celebrations, making the special a natural fit for a patriotic long weekend on the river.
Bookings can be made at 610-0912 or by email at [email protected]. Escape, relax, and experience the wild side of Belize, at local prices.
