By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and New Growth Industries, through its Research, Development and Innovation Center at Central Farm, has conducted field visits to two soursop farms in the Cayo District to collect pest and disease samples for identification and diagnosis.
The initiative aims to gather information that will help develop effective pest and disease management strategies to improve soursop production in Belize.
The project is being carried out in collaboration with the Pesticides Control Board (PCB) and the Belize Agricultural Health Authority (BAHA).
