By Zoila Palma: Today, Minister of Home Affairs Julius Espat visited the Seine Bight Police Sub-Formation.
Minister Espat was welcomed by Inspector Anibal Castellanos, Commander of the Seine Bight Police Sub-Formation along with the station staff personnel and members of the morning relief team.
Minister Espat explained that the purpose of the visit was to meet with the officers, listen to their concerns, and identify ways to improve their welfare and upgrade the Sub-Formation.
Inspector Castellanos presented several proposals for the station, highlighting the need for additional office space to accommodate the Gender-Based Violence Response and Investigation Unit and also for the Quick Response Team personnel.
Minister Espat reiterated the importance of providing officers with a better working environment. He acknowledged that improvements would take time but assured that he would do his utmost to address the identified needs.
