By Zoila Palma: Today, the Golden Stream Village Council made an appeal to the community for support for a brave 14-year-old girl who is currently battling blood cancer.
The family of Shanisha Cucul is pleading for assistance to help cover hospital bills, medical treatment costs, and other related expenses during this difficult time.
Cucul is currently receiving medical care at Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital in Belize City.
“The financial burden on the family has become overwhelming. We are reaching out to kind-hearted individuals, businesses, organizations, and community members who may be willing to assist in any way possible.
No contribution is too small, and every donation will go directly toward her medical care and essential expenses. Your generosity, prayers, and support will make a meaningful difference in her recovery and help ease the burden on the family,” the village council said.
Donations can be made by contacting Yonarda Cucul at 612-8368.
