That’s all I have to say, “Ha!”(Well, in case it’s not clear, I’ll also have to explain that I am LOVING this…) Bad Bunny [Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio] was featured this week (updated on Jun 2, 2026) on the Forbes Iconoclast 50 list. (Great photos by Jamel Toppin!) As Forbes shared today, “Bad Bunny’s year was marked by milestones on some of entertainment’s biggest stages.” The Forbes team writes:
Four years ago, Forbes launched its Iconoclast summit to convene a forum for the world’s most influential leaders in finance, industry, entertainment and media and technology. The idea was to gather and probe the world’s leading minds for direction in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic that shook the planet. While the pandemic seems far in the rearview mirror, 2026 brings a new set of imminent challenges and opportunities, from the War in Iran to the onslaught of artificial intelligence.

Bad Bunny was crowned Spotify’s Global Top Artist for the fourth time this year, with 19.8 billion streams. Forbes estimates those sales filled the King of Latin Trap’s coffers with just shy of $30 million. But the majority of the 31-year-old superstar’s estimated 2025 earnings (about $40 million) come from the more than 30 shows he played this year in his blockbuster residency in his native Puerto Rico, which was aptly named No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí (I Don’t Want To Leave Here). In addition to a role that arguably stole Happy Gilmore 2 in July. [. . .]
His album Debí Tirar Más Fotos became the first Spanish-language album to win Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards. He followed that achievement with one of the most-watched Super Bowl halftime performances ever, drawing more than 4 billion views across platforms in its first 24 hours. His sold-out Puerto Rico residency also helped drive an estimated $66 million in earnings in 2025.
