By Jose Luis Cruz: Roger Escalante, a well-known DJ from Corozal was shot dead earlier tonight in the Halls Layout area of Corozal town. Residents in the area said they heard a barrage of gunshots that they say were definitely more than a dozen.
During the shooting, Ezer Alcoser, another DJ from the area was also injured. Alcoser was rushed to the hospital and is reported to be in a stable condition.
While suspicions are flying high, police do not yet have a motive and are investigating this latest murder.
