By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Relatively moist and unstable weather conditions are continuing across Belize today, bringing cloudy skies, scattered showers and thunderstorms to several parts of the country.
According to the latest morning forecast issued by the National Meteorological Service, central and northern portions of the mainland are expected to experience periods of light rain and thunderstorms throughout the morning hours. Forecasters say conditions may gradually improve later in the day with sunny breaks developing between cloudy periods.
Tonight’s forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and thunderstorms, while southern Belize could see increased rainfall activity overnight.
Temperatures are expected to remain hot inland, reaching up to 93 degrees Fahrenheit, while coastal areas are forecast to see highs near 88 degrees. Marine conditions remain moderate with easterly to southeasterly winds between 10 and 20 knots and waves between 4 and 6 feet.
The weather outlook for Wednesday predicts partly cloudy conditions with isolated showers and thunderstorms continuing across parts of the country.
