By Zoila Palma: On May 22, 2026, the Government of Belize, through the Social Investment Fund and the CDB, inaugurated a new building for the Corazon Creek Technical High School.
The new infrastructure is specifically designed to expand educational opportunities in the south, directly benefiting students traveling from sixteen different communities across the Toledo District.
The project features a two-story concrete structure equipped with eight modern classrooms to enhance student learning, dedicated administrative office spaces, restrooms for students and staff, secure storage areas, and fully integrated access ramps to ensure inclusivity for all students and visitors.
The Government of Belize says that this new building represents its ongoing commitment to provide equitable access to educational resources and modern infrastructure to rural communities nationwide.
