By Aaron Humes: Police in San Ignacio have formally charged Elias Ismael Tzib, a teacher at Eden SDA Primary School in Bullet Tree Falls, Cayo District, with multiple offences.
Tzib faces four counts of assault and two counts of rape.
It follows a report made to police on Friday morning. The charges stem from allegations reportedly made by one of his students.
