Belize Weather: Warm start to new week

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Except for the small chance of isolated thunderstorms developing over the Maya Mountains this afternoon, little to no rainfall is expected. Seasonably warm and mostly dry weather conditions continue over the area.

High temperatures today are forecasted at 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 95 degrees in inland areas and 85 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 74 degrees in inland areas, and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots, resulting in choppy to moderate seas.

Tides will be high at 10:49 this morning and low at 6:29 this evening. The sun rose at 5:24 this morning and will set at 6:13 this evening.

Tuesday and Tuesday night see continuing mainly fair and warm weather conditions.
