By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the theft of a Bobcat Skid Steer tractor.
On Wednesday, April 8, about 2:20 p.m., a Belizean real estate agent of San Pedro Town reported the theft of a Bobcat Skid Steer tractor valued at $80,000. The agent reported that on Saturday, March 21, he secured the tractor inside a private fenced property belonging to his client, a third individual, in the San Marcos Area, San Pedro Town, and locked the gate with a chain and padlock.
On Sunday, April 5, around 5:00 p.m., he received a call informing him that the tractor was missing. The agent visited the property and confirmed the tractor had been stolen and observed that the padlock securing the gate had been cut.
