Belize Weather: Easter weather fair

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly sunny skies today with only isolated showers. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with isolated showers at first, then a few showers and low chance of isolated thunderstorms mainly over the south and some coastal areas late tonight into early Monday. A fresh to moderate easterly airflow is prevailing.

High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 91 degrees in inland areas and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 70 degrees in inland areas and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at ten to 20 knots and seas choppy.

Tides are low as of 5:31 this morning. The high tide is at 11:18 this morning and a low tide occurs at 6:49 this evening. The sun rose at 5:44 this morning and will set at 6:06 this evening.

On Monday expect cloudy intervals, a few showers and a medium chance of isolated thunderstorms to develop along the coast at first, moving inland by afternoon.
