By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police have arrested a police officer accused of raping his own niece.
According to police, on March 29th officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in Belize City. When cops arrived, members of the family were arguing and throwing objects and the accused uncle.
After police intervened, the 14-year-old girl reported that two days earlier, on March 27th, her mother’s brother raped her.
Police contacted a social worker and the child was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for a medical examination.
