By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police have formally arrested and charged a 27-year-old Orange Walk Town resident following a drug discovery during a patrol operation.
Officials confirmed that shortly after the discovery, the suspect was processed and taken into custody.
At approximately 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, police formally arrested and charged him for possession of controlled drugs.
The charge stems from an earlier search conducted by officers on Staines Alley, where suspected cocaine was found in his possession.
The substance has since been secured as evidence as the case moves forward through the court system.
Police continue to warn the public that patrol operations remain active as part of ongoing efforts to curb drug activity in the area.
