By Zoila Palma: Today, the Department of Human Development, Education and Employment (DHDEE) welcomed a group of students from Belize, accompanied by Nestor E. Mendez, Ambassador of Belize to the Organization of American States (OAS).
During their visit, the delegation had the opportunity to learn more about the OAS’s work in advancing education, human development, and scholarship opportunities across the Americas.
In addition, students discussed the wide range of opportunities offered by the OAS to pursue higher education.
The session provided a space for meaningful exchange, where students engaged with DHDEE representatives and gained insights into programs that support academic and professional growth in the region.
