Belize Weather: Mild weather continues

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be variably cloudy with a few showers and periods of light rain, mainly offshore and over the south this morning; with showers and rain decreasing this afternoon. Tonight, a few showers or periods of light rain are likely over the south. A mild and somewhat moist northerly airflow prevails.

High temperatures today are forecasted at 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 84 degrees in inland areas and 70 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 64 degrees in inland areas, and 61 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the north to northeast at ten to 20 knots with higher gusts, resulting in moderate to rough seas. Due to occasionally gusty winds and rough seas, especially beyond the barrier reef, operators of small crafts should exercise caution.

Tides will be high at 10:04 this morning and 10:49 this evening and low at 4:38 this afternoon. The sun rose at 5:57 this morning and will set at 6:03 this evening.

The weather outlook for Friday: mainly fair with only light isolated showers.
