By Aaron Humes: A 29-year-old Belize Defence Force (BDF) soldier, Rasheed Flowers, was fatally stabbed in a fight on Gladden Street, Belize City, on Monday night. Flowers was taken to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) with a stab wound and pronounced dead at 12:38 a.m.
According to police investigations, Flowers was socializing with a neighbor around 8:30 p.m. when a fight broke out with a group of men. He was stabbed during the altercation and died from his injuries. The attackers fled the scene.
Police are continuing their investigation and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
