By Rubén Morales Iglesias: PACT on TRAK continued their commanding run in the 2026 Belikin La Ruta Maya Belize River Challenge on Sunday, powering to another stage victory in 4:45 on the Double Head Cabbage–Burrell Boom leg. The trio of Amado Cruz, Enrique Cruz, and Cristian Lopez maintained a steady, controlled pace that kept them clear of the field and strengthened their overall lead heading into Monday’s decisive sprint to Belize City.
After crossing the line, Amado Cruz acknowledged the rising difficulty of the race every day.
“It keeps getting harder,” Amado said. Despite the mounting fatigue, the team’s consistency has kept them firmly in control
Riverside Boys (Toucan Solutions) — Henner Cruz, Efrain Cruz, and Brian Cruz — paddled in approximately 20 seconds later to secure second place, keeping themselves in the heart of the podium battle.
Ranza River Cruisers — Daniel Cruz Sr., Francisca Cruz Pfaender, and Daniel Cruz Jr. — claimed third, followed by Black Orchid Resort — Carlos Linares, Brandon Lind, and Jesus Linares — in fourth, as the fight for the overall podium tightened among the top four crews.
Lucas Oil Family — Armin Lopez Sr., Armin Lopez Jr., and Ulises Lopez — finished fifth, while the top C2 team, River Blazer Bros — Javier Guardado and Andres Cabb Jr. — secured sixth, continuing their impressive run as the leading two‑man crew in the race.
Lucas Oil Mixed Team — Clayton Cabb, Milenie Cabb, and Eric Cano — placed seventh, Team Brothers — Luis Garcia, Josey Garcia, and Yonie Garcia — came in eighth, the Police Coast Guard Spartans — (paddlers’ names not provided) — secured ninth, and Napoles — Rudolph Sho, Roel Sho, and Marvin Alvarez — rounded out the top ten.

With one stage remaining, PACT on TRAK remain in full control, but the battle for second through fourth is shaping up to be one of the tightest in recent years. Riverside Boys, Black Orchid Resort, and Ranza River Cruisers remain separated by narrow margins, setting up a dramatic showdown on Monday.
