The donation of MIDAS expands support for Belize’s ongoing modernization of border management technology.
“As part of ongoing improvements to border management and facilitation of migration, Belize is upgrading the border management tools that immigration officers rely on every day to keep ports of entry secure and processing efficient,” the European Union noted.
“The donation received by the Ministry of Immigration advances Belize’s push for modern, secure immigration services,” the EU added.
This equips officers with dependable tools to protect data and strengthen border management and helps ensure a smoother entry experience for Belizeans and visitors alike.
