

One Football (11 February 2026) reported that Costa Rica, Haiti, and Panama, qualified for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026. “The 2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers continued with eight matches as Groups B, C, D and E concluded on Tuesday. The day’s results saw Haiti, Panama, Costa Rica, and the United States win their respective groups to secure qualification for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026.” According to CONCACAF, the list of qualified teams so far also includes Cuba, Honduras, and Jamaica!
CONCACAF also shared that, in the playoffs, Costa Rica became Central America’s all-time scoring nation with 2,016 total goals; Jamaica scored 18 goals to record the highest goal total by a Caribbean nation; Sonson Jean-Baptiste (Haiti, shown above) became the youngest player to score a brace at 15 years and three months; and Cuba qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup for the first time in 35 years.

Group B
Anguilla 1-1 Dominica
Anguilla and Dominica played out a 1-1 stalemate in Group B at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama. Both sides secured their first point.
Panama 4-1 Nicaragua
Group hosts Panama defended its lead in Group B with a 4-1 victory against Nicaragua at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama.[. . .] The win confirms Panama as the winner in Group B as the nation secured a fifth qualification for a FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Group C
Antigua and Barbuda 1-0 Grenada
Antigua and Barbuda opened Group C action with a 1-nil victory over Grenada at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Deonjre Joseph struck the winner for Antigua and Barbuda in the 58’, by heading home a free kick delivery into the box from Robert Jeffrey. The goal marked the first for the Benna Boys in the 2026 edition.
Haiti 2-1 Guatemala
Haiti defeated group hosts Guatemala, 2-1, in a crucial Group C encounter at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Haiti found the opener in the 7’ with a header from inside the penalty box from Sonson Jean-Baptiste. Patrick Arana tied the match for the hosts in the 11’, capitalizing on a cross from Hensen Chacón.
Baptiste recorded his second of the match in the 22’, with a powerful shot from inside the box, to secure the pivotal win for Haiti. Haiti wins Group C and qualifies for a FIFA U-17 World Cup for the fourth time.
Group D
British Virgin Islands 2-2 Turks and Caicos
The British Virgin Islands drew 2-2 against Turks and Caicos in Group D at the Costa Rican Football Federation Field # 2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica. Both Caribbean nations secured their first point.
Jordan Dane got Turks and Caicos off the mark in the 4’. Akhori Sebastian tied the match for the British Virgin Islands in the 21’. Turks and Caicos reclaimed the lead in the 43’, when Scott Kommalapate received a pass from Jwaun Exalu. Theo Coombs converted a penalty for the BVI in the 84’ for the 2-2 result.
Costa Rica 0-0 Puerto Rico
Costa Rica and Puerto Rico drew nil-nil in Group D at the Costa Rican Football Federation Field #2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica. With the result, Costa Rica won Group D and qualified for its 12th FIFA U-17 World Cup. [. . .]
