By Zoila Palma: Today, the Government and people of Belize extended congratulations to Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, on her electoral victory yesterday.
“Belize deeply values the strong and enduring bonds of friendship between our two countries and looks forward to further strengthening our partnership, particularly in advancing the Free Movement of CARICOM nationals, sustainable development, and regional peace and security,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Mottley and her party won all 30 seats in the National Assembly.
