The match remained tight throughout, with both teams battling for control. The breakthrough finally came in the 82nd minute, when Troy Augustus scored the winner to secure all three points for Reggae Boyz.
Despite the victory, Reggae Boyz FC remain in 4th place in the standings, now with 7 points, while Belize United stay in 8th place with 1 point.
