By Aaron Humes: Police have announced that 21-year-old Caryl Paul Rodas, a Belizean construction worker of Burrell Boom Village, Belize District, has been arrested and charged with the murder of Elroy Bainton on January 25.
Bainton was shot and killed on Yellowtail Street, Ladyville, Belize District, approximately 13 minutes after the killing of his good friend Shakeem Ferguson; they had just been together and Ferguson was shot near his home.
Police believed the killings were related and had to do with internal rivalry in the village.
