By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police in Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk intervened to resolve an online shopping dispute after a woman reported that clothing she paid for was never delivered.

The report was made on Friday, February 6th, 2026, around 4:40 p.m., when the complainant visited the Guinea Grass Sub-Station. She reported that in December 2025, she transferred $120 Belize to another village resident to purchase Shein clothing, including one shirt and two dresses.

The items reportedly never arrived, and in January 2026, the complainant sent multiple messages requesting a refund instead of the clothing.

Police later visited the residence of the woman who received the money. She agreed to repay the $120 Belize on February 17th, 2026, in the presence of the complainant.

She was advised of the consequences should the repayment not be made, and both parties were counseled accordingly. Police say the matter was resolved peacefully.
