By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police intervention helped resolve a domestic dispute in Guinea Grass Village on Friday afternoon after a woman sought assistance regarding her father.

The incident occurred on Friday, February 6th, 2026, around 4:30 p.m., when police were informed that a man had arrived at his former partner’s residence and attempted to gain entry.

The woman explained that the property belongs to her mother, who has been separated from the man for approximately 15 years and is currently working in San Pedro. She stated that she was left in charge of maintaining the house and did not allow him inside.

Police later visited the man at his residence in Guinea Grass Village and strongly advised him on the matter. He reportedly agreed that he would no longer go to the residence and would instead contact his other daughters to communicate with their mother.

Police say the situation was handled calmly and ended without further incident.
