Call for Manuscripts: Brill Caribbean Series

51

Here is a call for manuscripts for Brill’s Caribbean Series, led by Sophie Maríñez (Borough of Manhattan Community College and The Graduate Center, New York).

The Caribbean Series invites submissions of high-quality manuscripts that advance interdisciplinary, comparative, and empirically grounded scholars working on the Caribbean. The series is committed to showcasing rigorous, engaged, and theoretically informed research that speaks across disciplinary boundaries.

We particularly welcome monographs and edited volumes that offer fresh perspectives on the arts, humanities, and social sciences, including interdisciplinary works that critically engage with decolonial thought and practice and reflect on the politics of knowledge production, collaboration, and representation in and beyond the Caribbean.

In addition, we encourage submissions of scholarly translations of out-of-print works of fiction published before 1999 that are of particular significance to literary and cultural studies.

Authors are cordially invited to submit proposals for manuscripts to the publishers at BRILL, Chunyan Shu (chunyan.shu@degruyterbrill.com) and Paola La Battaglia (paola.labattaglia@degruyterbrill.com).
