By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A police officer has been charged with murder in connection with the killing of Shackeem Ferguson in Ladyville.
The accused is 24-year-old Kenroy Rudolph Allen Jr, a member of the Belize Police Department. The murder reportedly occurred on Sunday afternoon.
Reports indicate that Allen Jr’s licensed firearm was tested and the results reportedly linked the weapon to the murder. Investigators are also said to be examining the officer’s phone after messages allegedly connected to another murder in the area surfaced.
Police are further looking into clothing and other items believed to be linked to another case, reportedly discovered at the officer’s home.
