By Zoila Palma: Last night, police special constable Marcos Acal lost his life in a tragic traffic accident on the Thomas Vincent Ramos Highway.
According to police reports, around 7:25 pm, they responded to reports of a traffic accident near miles 30 and 31 and found Acal’s body lying on the pavement.
Acal has suffered major injuries and was found bleeding profusely at the scene.
Officers saw his damaged red and black Skygo 125cc motorcycle.
Police have since detained a Guatemalan national who was driving a vehicle that matched the description of the one involved in the collision.
