By Zoila Palma: The National Institute of Culture and History (NICH), in partnership with the National Celebrations Commission, has announced the official celebration of George Price Day 2026.
The event will take place on 15th January 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Independence Hall, Queen Street, Belize City.
This year’s celebration will feature a special exhibit highlighting The People’s United Party (PUP) at 75, focusing on its legacy of “Serving the People” and Continuing the Revolution.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the history and contributions of Belize’s first Prime Minister, George Price, and learn about the milestones of the PUP over the past 75 years.
