By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, fair and mostly dry conditions prevail on this first day of 2026. Over the next 24 hours, skies will be variably cloudy with little or no rain expected.
The average high temperatures forecast for today along the coast is 81 degrees Fahrenheit; it will reach 84 degrees in inland areas, while it will be 70 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 68 degrees along the coast, 62 degrees inland, and 58 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots, and wave action is choppy to moderate.
Tides will be high at 9:09 this morning and 7:53 this evening, and low at 1:32 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:23 this morning and sets at 5:29 this evening.
Friday and Friday night see partly cloudy skies with little or no rain expected, except for a medium chance of isolated showers or periods of light rain developing over some southern coastal areas on Friday morning.
