By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, relatively moist and unstable conditions will continue over our area. Over the next 24 hours, skies will be sunny with some cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers, periods of rain, and isolated thunderstorms will likely occur mainly over central and southern areas today, with activity decreasing later this evening. Then, a few showers, periods of rain, and isolated thunderstorms will redevelop and affect mostly southern and some coastal areas tonight.
The average high temperatures forecast for today are 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 84 degrees in inland areas, and 73 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 74 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland, and 65 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots, and wave action is choppy to moderate.
Tides will be low at 8:35 this morning and 8:54 this evening, and high at 2:45 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:20 this morning and sets at 5:26 this evening.
For Saturday, skies will be cloudy at times. A few showers, periods of rain, and isolated thunderstorms will likely occur mostly over the south on Saturday, with activity decreasing and becoming isolated Saturday night.
