By Zoila Palma: The Belize Police Department (BPD) hosted a farewell event in honor of Inspector Edgar Tapia in recognition of his dedicated years of service to the Belize Police Department.
Regional Commander for the Eastern Region, Reymundo Reyes, Sr. Supt., along with divisional and unit commanders, gathered to celebrate the officer’s commitment, leadership, and invaluable contributions throughout his career.
Senior officers extended words of appreciation, reflections on memorable moments, and well-wishes as the officer embarks on a new chapter.
In addition, the BPD recognized Senior Supt. Juanito Cocom for his valuable contribution as commander for Division Two.
As he ventures into another area of his policing career, officers send their best wishes as the officer prepares to take on new responsibilities at his next posting.
