Belize Weather: Rain hits weekend forecast

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, relatively moist and somewhat unstable conditions will prevail. Over the next 24 hours, skies will be sunny with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy to cloudy tonight, along with a few showers, periods of rain, and isolated thunderstorms continuing mainly over northern, central, and coastal areas today and tonight, while isolated showers are expected elsewhere.

The average high temperatures forecast for today are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 87 degrees in inland areas, and 75 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 75 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland, and 65 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots, and wave action is light chop.

Tides will be high at 10:54 this morning and 9:41 this evening. They will be low at 3:41 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:17 this morning and sets at 5:22 this evening.

Similar weather conditions are projected to prevail for Sunday and Sunday night.
