By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize’s U‑15 Women’s National Volleyball Team finished third at the 2nd Central American U‑15 Invitational Volleyball Championship in Managua, defeating hosts Nicaragua 3–0 (25–18, 25–21, 25–21) in Sunday’s bronze‑medal play‑off.
The victory capped a demanding week in which Belize endured three consecutive defeats — including exhausting five‑set battles against Guatemala and Nicaragua — before sweeping El Salvador to reach the medal round. In the rematch against Nicaragua, the Belizean girls showed composure and determination, controlling all three sets to secure a proud podium finish.
