By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police have arrested and charged a 31-year-old man after his ex-partner reported being assaulted and threatened during a domestic altercation in San Jose Nuevo Palmar, Orange Walk.
The incident reportedly happened around 9:30 pm on Sunday, December 7, when the man arrived at the woman’s home under the influence. He became aggressive, punched her multiple times, and verbally threatened to kill her and her children.
The woman’s injuries were certified as harm by a medical officer. Following her report on December 8, police obtained a warrant and took the accused into custody.
He has been charged with harm and threats of death. The investigation continues.
