By Aaron Humes: A 45-year-old man, Beris Nehemaya Anglin, was found shot to death inside his home on Progress Street in Orange Walk. The incident occurred on Saturday, December 6, around 11:00 p.m., when several gunshots were heard in the area.
Anglin’s common-law wife, a 49-year-old woman, discovered his body upon returning home from work at 12:30 a.m. on December 7. She found the door open and Anglin lying motionless on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds to the body and head.
Fourteen nine-millimeter expended shells were recovered from the scene. The police are currently investigating the murder, but no one has been detained so far.
